CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CHEF PARTIES:

  • Providing a clean workspace: The client shall provide a kitchen space with cleared, cleaned countertops and sink for the chef. For outdoor parties, the client shall provide a 6 ft x 8 ft space free of debris for equipment set-up.

  • Setting up Table arrangement with Chairs, Napkins, Flatware, Plate ware, Silverware  and Glassware: The client is responsible for arranging and setting up the dining area, including table and chairs, to accommodate the number of guests specified by the client. Glasses, plateware, napkins, and flatware set out for the client’s guests where they will be seated.

  • Start of service: The client shall ensure that the party is seated and ready to begin the Chef Party promptly once the Chef is ready (~30 minutes after arrival time). Once ready, the Chef can wait up to 30 minutes to begin if needed to ensure all guests are present. Keep in mind that this is not ideal and may impact the quality and temperature of your food. After 30 minutes of waiting, the Chef may need to reschedule your party due to food safety concerns. Rescheduled parties will incur a 50% fee. Please make sure all your guests come on time and are ready..

  • Cleanup: The client shall be responsible for cleaning up the dining area after the experience is completed, including the disposal of waste. We recommend having an additional trash receptacle onsite to avoid discarded items piling up. The Chef will clean up any mess they made during meal preparation in the designated prep spot (kitchen, outdoor space, etc.).

  • Outdoor Parties: If it rains or if the temperature exceeds 90 degrees, we ask that the customer provides a covering for the chef to cook under so they can stay dry & cool. The Chef can cook under tents, and patios OR if customer need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate.

  • Host Extras: The following will not be provided by the Chef, but the Client may want to consider some of the following to optimize the experience:
